- rustin.petraeMay 30, 2018IntroductionsHello. My name is Rustin Petrae. I'm an Art Director, author, comic-book creator, and graphic designer from Ohio. I was actually born in San Antonio, Texas but spent nearly half my life overseas. I grew up on Misawa Air Force Base, Japan and then went on to Seoul, South Korea and then onto Osan Air Force Base, South Korea where I graduated from Osan American High School. I loved that life. I loved living in a country where I was able to absorb different cultures and traditions. I learned a lot from that and I use a lot of what I learned in my writing. If anyone needs help designing covers, business cards, tshirts, etc then I'm your guy. Also, I wrote the Histories of Purga novels (Dragon, Roc, & Basilisk), the Bane Pack Novels (Blood Ties: The First & Blood Ties: The Second), and a collection of my short stories called Forfeit. If you'd like more info on me, my website is: rustinmpetrae.wixsite.com/rustinpetraeagd. And all of my books are available as Read 2 Review books. You get them free but you have to publish your honest review to Goodreads, Amazon, Smashwords, etc. If you are interested, just let me know by responding to this post. Thank you, Rustin PetraeLike
- rustin.petraeMay 30, 2018IntroductionsThis thread is devoted to just introducing yourself and saying hi. Tell us a little bit about yourself. Let us know what works you have published or done, where to see them, and anything else you'd like to share. Gamut Media wants to help you get your work out there. We do not ask for any compensation or anything like that. We want to do it because it's freaking hard to get exposure, why not have a place to go to help your efforts for free. We hope this forum can help with that. Even if you don't submit to Worlds, if we like what we see, we'll tell people about you so feel free to show us where to go to view your stuff. I'll post these here too. Some rules: 1. Be constructive. If you are going to offer criticism, be constructive (not destructive). 2. To quote Captain America...language. We don't need nor want foul language in posts. 3. Do not post any of your works in the forum that you plan to submit to Worlds (unless you are getting them critiqued before submitting). If you want to submit works to Worlds then go to our website and read over our submission guidelines before you email your submission to us. 4. Worlds is open to minors so DO NOT post inappropriate content. You will be removed if you do. 5. Share us. Invite your friends to join our group. We want to spread the word and help creatives from every discipline. For that to work, people need to know about us. If you have any questions or if you have questions about submitting to Worlds, email us here: gamut_submit@hotmail.com.Like
- rustin.petraeMay 30, 2018Welcome to Gamut!Hi All. Thank you for joining the Gamut Forum. This thread is a good place to find like-minded friends, reviewers, people to connect with, and more. Ultimately, however, this is a group dedicated to Worlds Magazine and its mission to help showcase all kinds of literary and artistic talents (especially indie creators). Here's a little bit more about Worlds: Worlds is an online magazine devoted to shining a light on undiscovered talent. We do encourage others with more notoriety to submit but for the most part we are trying to help bring more creatives' works to the masses. We encourage people to join and share their works but know that we expect everyone to uphold a set of values when posting and commenting. We want to spread the word and help creatives from every discipline. For that to work, people need to know about us. Thank you for your consideration and feel free to invite your friends to join our group. Hopefully we can help people become more successful with their writing careers.Like
